The host was notably responsive on WhatsApp, a valuable trait when coordinating arrivals, particularly given the shared bathroom situation - during my stay, this was manageable with only one other guest. The room was clean and fairly quiet with a comfy bed that provided a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities for those early mornings and the flat-screen TV for some light entertainment. While there aren't lavish amenities, the value here is in the simplicity and location. Given the fair pricing and the focus on essential comforts, House Steccuto is a spot worth considering for those who want to enjoy Florence without overstretching their budget.
